The Chinese Lantern Festival Will Light Up The Montreal Botanical Garden Next Month
If you love fall, enjoy lights and have a thing for plants, gardens, and architecture, get your calendars out because you are not going to want to miss out on this event.
This fall, "Gardens of Light" festival is returning to the Montreal Botanical Garden! For the event, 3 cultural gardens will be transformed with glowing lantern installations and projections.
The "traditional" lanterns in the Chinese Garden will illustrate "a fabulous fishing tale" as visitors move through the space, perhaps the most popular in the entire park.
Dozens of lanterns big and small will fill the garden's central pond. Their reflections will double their splendor.
In the Japanese garden, visitors will move "along a meditative illuminated path inspired by the seasons."
Lastly, an exhilarating, "intense multimedia experience" awaits in the First Nations Garden. Particpants will "feel the beating heart of the circle of life," according to the Botanical Garden website.
